We will take a walk through the Alcaicería, which was the old Arab souk, where the silk market was located. Nearby are the Madraza (Arab University), the Corral del Carbón (Fondak) and the Plaza Bib-Rambla. Next to this is the Cathedral, the first Renaissance temple built in Spain, and the Royal Chapel.

The Royal Chapel is the Gothic church where Spain’s most famous monarchs, the Catholic Monarchs Isabella and Ferdinand, are buried. Inside, you can admire the beautiful Renaissance tombs made for them and their heirs, Joanna the Mad and Philip the Handsome. Next to the Royal Chapel, we can admire Spain’s first Renaissance cathedral.

Its museum houses an exquisite collection of early Flemish, Italian, and Spanish paintings, as well as various objects belonging to the Catholic Monarchs.

We will complete this tour with a short walk through the oldest part of Granada, the Albaicín neighborhood. This neighborhood is home to the famous Cármenes and Miradores, with the Plaza de San Nicolás being a particular highlight.

The guided tour of the Alhambra in Granada is an opportunity to discover a unique and unmissable monument. It is a palace complex of Andalusian origin and remarkable dimensions. Thanks to its collection of rooms, spaces, gardens, and decoration, it is a unique example of a Muslim city-palace.

We will begin with a tour of the entire Alhambra Monumental Complex: the Nasrid Palaces, where we will admire the Hall of Ambassadors, the Court of the Myrtles, the Court of the Lions, the Hall of the Abencerrages, the Hall of the Kings and the Two Sisters, the Lindaraja Viewpoint, the Partal, the Alcazaba, and the Medina (ruins of the old Arab town).

Inside, we will find two magnificent royal houses dating from the 14th century: the Palace of the Patio de Comares and the Palace of the Patio de los Leones. Later, in the 16th century, the Renaissance Palace of Charles V was added. Outside the walls, we will stroll through the entertainment estate of the Kings of Granada, El Generalife, also visiting the Palace of Recreation. We will enjoy its wonderful gardens, fountains, ponds, groves, orange and lemon trees, waterfalls, jets, and walks among cypresses and oleanders, with the Patio de la Acequia and the Patio de la Sultana standing out in its architectural ensemble.
